A few things we did while on our road trip:

Drove past the world’s largest catsup bottle in Collinsville, IL

Got to see my photograph on display at the IU Simon Cancer Center

walked around the White River State Park (Indianapolis, IN)

visited the NCAA Hall of Champions (Indianapolis, IN)

got to experience VLADMASTER at the Indianapolis Museum of Art  (this was amazing, by the way.  if you ever get a chance to go to a performance you should!)

enjoyed the first race ever held at night at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY

visited the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory in Louisville, KY… We both got to hold the bat Ortiz used in 2005 : )

and of course, got to eat at a lot of really great restaurants!  Loveless Cafe in Nashville (not pictured) was some of the best food I have ever eaten… quite possibly better than Paula Deen’s.
