Time for another summer giveaway! In case you were wondering, our winner for the funniest tweet during RoadTrip 09 went to Josh M, who received an item of his choice from my etsy shop and set of handmade note cards:
Thanks to everyone who tweeted to us during our road trip, it was a lot of fun!
Now it’s time for another giveaway. Lately I have been overflowing with excitement and anticipation – I have so many great things to look forward to in the next few months… it’s been one of those blocks of time where amazing things are happening in my life. 2009 is going to rock! To enter this giveaway, write about something you’re excited about or looking forward to (from now until whenever) and I will use a random number generator to choose the winner.
What am I giving away? 20 prints from the Memphis TtV series on kandicook.com.
Twenty fine art 4.5” x 5.5” prints printed on matte finish Kodak Supra Endura professional photographic paper. These photographs were shot through the viewfinder (TtV) of a Minolta Hi-Matic F camera in the south main arts district of Memphis, Tennessee in March of this year.
You have until the end of the day on Wednesday, August 5th 2009 to leave a comment entering the giveaway. Winner will be announced late in the week : )

woah. crazy generous giveaway! ok, kinda corny i suppose, but i am looking so forward to seeing my third child learn to walk- she’s been pulling up for quite a while, and just started to cruise a bit, so it will be a bitter sweet moment when she finally takes those first steps. having seen my first two reach this milestone, it is the most cutest thing ever! their delight in movement is so amazing and real! inspiring and adorable! (i write that it will be bitter sweet because i think she’s going to be my last baby. three’s tough, but still…boo hoo! babies are so precious) ;D thanks a bunch again for the chance to win this huge-ola stack of neat prints!!! cheers!
These are pretty perfect prints!
The only thing i am looking forward to, is graduating from law school four years from now. I am so tired of all the studying and late-night preps. I can’t wait to get all this over with and graduate with good grades and a plum job offer!
Awesome prints – I love them!
I’m looking forward to moving across the country, which I do in four days. It’s a big change for me, but exciting as well!
I am really looking forward to the birth of my niece this september. I cant actually wait to see the little darling I have fallen in love with. YAY!
Thanks for this giveaway!
I’m looking forward to the end-of-the-year holidays. Still 2+ months to go, but I’m already quite excited.
PASTRY SCHOOL! i had some difficulty figuring out how to make it work with my full time job, but i’m hoping that it all works out and i won’t get discouraged by the fact that i don’t get to take baking this semester. i think food science is going to be super rad, and i get to dress up in full chef whites every day, which i hope is as fun as it is in my head.
also, GONERFEST! i can’t wait for a four day weekend full of gritty music, cheap liquor, knitting, and staying up too late wandering the streets of memphis.
ROCK!
Amazing giveaway! I LOVE TtV photography, and a set of TWENTY? wow!
Right now I am looking forward to my contractor coming back to finish up the last part of a long and painful home renovation.
I am also looking foward to watching the leaves turn color soon. I know I shouldn’t be wishing away summer, but it has been a chilly and damp summer anyway.
Great TTV shots!
I’m looking forward to my daughter’s 2nd birthday coming up later this month. I really want to give her a fun filled day!
I WAS looking forward to visiting in September. Now I’m looking forward to coming down sometime soon. I’m also looking forward to putting together a book the end of the year sometime. Using Blurb or another such site most likely.
Very nice shots by the way. Whenever I come down you have to be my photo guide through Memphis. :)
Kandi, these are fantastic! You make me miss Memphis more. Luckily I’ll be there in December to run the St Jude 1/2 marathon. Looks like you are still your creative self…
I am looking forward to finding a full time church. I am looking forward to doing what I’ve been called to do for the rest of my life. I think the one thing I am most looking forward to, though, is coming back to Memphis eventually and doing FatFest again at some point.
I’m looking forward to getting to know my beautiful girlfriend more and more each day. She is from Japan, she has so many wonderful stories. I could listen to her talk all night long. I love her so much =) I am also looking forward to what my business will bring in the next year! I got so many great ideas, with so many things happening so fast! my world has turned up side down for the better!!!…Oh and I look foward to coming to see you all this year with my girlfriend! I miss yall!!!
