SUPERKANTASTIC WEBLOG

I don’t know how I did it (Ibuprofen played a big part) and my ears are still ringing… but somehow I managed to survive Gonerfest6.  The front of the program said “The wildest show on earth” and after the first night I realized they weren’t exaggerating.  Over thirty shows in three days and  I made it to all of them and photographed all but one or two (three at the most).  It was a very memorable experience and I had so much fun and made a lot of new friends.

I have no idea how many photographs  I shot, but I’d estimate it at a few thousand.  My fisheye broke during the opening ceremonies, and I ended up using the Nikon for the whole festival…  I started editing on Sunday (in chronological order, though it was tempting to edit the crazy ones first) and putting together series for kandicook.com, I’ll post the series here as they become available.

So far I have four sets up from Thursday:  King Louie One Man Band – Fresh & Onlys – CoCoComa (I could have done an entire series just on Lisa Roe) & Magnetix.  More to come!
