A few weeks ago I had a friend ask me to paint a squid, which then turned into an octopus and a squid, and then into the two of them being in love with their tentacles intertwined. This is the result! Done in oil pastels (my favorite, sigh) and the little heart between them is embroidered on. Oh man, I think I forgot to put the little suckers on the octopus, or did I? You be the judge.
